Playwriting

Primavera, or The Quiverfull Play  (FULL-LENGTH PLAY)  A young woman confronts the legalism of her southern religious community when an old love interest returns for a family wedding. The man’s homecoming to the fundamentalist, “quiverfull” Christian community of his upbringing reconnects him with his peers and siblings who stayed behind. The play is told in part through characters’ dreams, as well as a chorus composed of The Three Graces. (6/7 W, 3 M)  Primavera, or The Quiverfull Play received its first staged reading at Baylor Theatre in May 2016 (Directed by Lisa Denman).
